No, not gonna make slaw, either...

Peter Graves died today.  I know, at first glance, you are all, who?  and then you go google and you're like, AHHHH NOOOO that dude was awesome.

I know.  Here, I'll pat you gently on the shoulder and offer you kleenex.  Only really it will be toilet paper because, kleenex?  Really?  I haven't bought that since I was forced to contribute to my teachers' stash in elementary school.

Next, I want to tell you that we caught five cabbages in yesterday's St. Patrick's Day parade, including one that was EASILY as big as my head.  We gave two away to strangers, and I intend to give the other three to co-workers.  Mama don't cook cabbage.  Mama don't like stanky vegetables.

Then, I want to tell you what a whore I am to free stuff
http://www.freebies4mom.com is my go-to source for stuff I don't really need, but it is free, so I must have some now.  I've been doing this for about a month, and the samples are beginning to roll on in.  So far, I've received three packets of Emergen-C, one free pull-up, some kotex (I know, tmi, whatevs), some gloss shampoo and conditioner (only one packet each, sad-face) from Fekkai (by the way, this stuff is FANTASTIC), and some Oil of Olay wash.  Don't think I am complaining... have I mentioned that this stuff is FREE?  LOVE.

Come to think of it, they should send me some free kleenex.

Hopefully, those Fekkai people google themselves and will see that I love this stuff and will (clearly) loudly say so on my blog, and they will send me some more.  Wouldn't that be nice?  Hey, Fekkai people?  You listenin'?  I'll lay off the eff word...

(until Easter, anyway)

Lastly, I want to share another text message convo with you guys.  Keep in mind that this was from a number NOT in my phone, and while I think it might be my cousin's daughter, I am not 100% convinced that this is not just a stranger:

Her/(Him?) - "Hi"

Me - "Hi you"

Her/(Him?) - "Remember that spot on my head?"

Me - "Okay."

Her/(Him?) - "I got it cut off Wensday (sic)"

Me - "Congratulations!"

Hunh.

Happy Monday, everybody.  Want some cabbage?
